Tea drinking may strengthen bones
Archives of Internal Medicine, May May 13, 2002 — Just one week after researchers reported that heavy tea drinking could reduce the risk of dying after a heart attack, another study has found that longtime tea-drinking may strengthen bones. THE BONE benefits occurred in people who drank an average of nearly two cups daily of black, green or oolong tea for at least six years, said researchers from National Cheng Kung University Hospital in Tainan, Taiwan.
