Ongoing developments led to BSEE developing numerous NTLs: 2009 – G36 Using alternate compliance in safety systems for subsea production operations Using secondary recovery methods including gas lift and water flood for subsea production operations Subsea pumping for production operations API Summer 2011 – BSEE requested API to address the gap

API RP17V – Subsea Safety Systems
Work group formed Summer 2011 following request from BSEE Closely following and working with API 14C First draft issued to reading group Summer 2012 Second draft 1H 2013 Ballot issued December 2013, closes 24th January 2014 BSEE have been actively engaged in this work since its inception
