Students majoring in International Affairs gain competency in global relations scholarship, skills in research, writing and oral communication, and proficiency in a foreign language. EWU IA students have gone on to graduate study in a wide array of disciplines, have volunteered with at the Peace Corps, worked with global non-profits, and pursued careers in the public, private and non-profit sectors, in areas such as international diplomacy, development, education, public policy, and law.
