“It is easy to say nice things about a “product” that works...  For the rare glimpse of an (staff) person to understand the view of a Division Chair-priceless …the (Academic) Division Chair learns from the (staff) person, too!  This valuable tool of blending the lines and adjusting our thoughts will prove to be of great significance… “…from my job shadowing experience, I have looked at some of the things I can improve upon …to help smooth out a process...   We talk about the importance of breaking down the silos and I think that being more aware of what everyone does helps faculty and staff to see how we really do all work together.
