2 How it ties into our curriculum
One way the science center ties into the curriculum is in the space lab it showed how winds flow through out earth that ties into our latest homework assignments that talked about such as jet stream and global winds.

3 Space lab The space lab was really unique it had many different interesting exhibits. The one I personally thought was the most interesting was that they had an actual space rock next to the astronauts suit. Even though the rock itself was small the story it told was huge. Aswell as the info on the moon there was information about the rest of the solar system too such as the tallest mountain in the solar system olympus mons on the planet mars

4 THE CONNECTICUT SCIENCE CENTER

5 The reason we went to the Hartford science center
We went on this field trip because all the rooms we went to go with are curriculum.  It was to learn about all the things that surround us that is plausable to do everyday. Learning simple things like outer space and all the planets, to moving a ball in a ring only using air pressure.

6 Sports lab This exhibit was all about the science connected in different kinds of sports   Such as how different helmets protect you in different ways. And even an exhibit that tracks your brain waves. All together the sport science lab is easily one of the most interesting exhibits in the science center it had such a wide variety of displays so that at least one could captivate any mind.

8 Forces of motion lab            This is a revolutionizing lab that shows how things might move around due to the control of the user. An example of forces of motion is the laser harp. This advanced harp works under the motion of your hand. When you stick your hand in the open hole the higher you put your hand in the hole the more noise it makes. The higher your hand is the higher the pitch.

9 Earth room This exhibit is all about how the earth was back then and all the different type of fossils that are found all around the world today. One of the main things was the weather back then. To simulate some of the experiences back then to compare to the harsh like the 78 mph winds that compare to the booth down below.
