Patient Family Survey Lean Six Sigma: Resident Work Rounds Project
The hospital is currently examining the resident rounds process so that we can improve the communication process between physicians, nurses, patients, and families. Your input is extremely valuable to us as we work to provide excellent patient care. For these questions, please use the following scoring system: Strongly disagree Disagree Neutral or no opinion Agree Strongly agree Circle the number which best reflects your response to the following questions: I know that I can participate in morning rounds with my child’s health care providers. I would be interested in participating in morning rounds with my child’s health care providers. I know approximately what time my physicians will be in to see my child and me. I am satisfied with the amount of time that physicians spend with my child and me each day. Following morning rounds, I understand the plan of care for my child My child’s physicians take enough time to answer my questions each day. I understand the role of each of the health care providers involved in my child’s care. I understand what needs to occur before my child can be discharged from the hospital I am satisfied with quality of physician care provided. I am satisfied with the coordination of care provided.
