2 Handles, lids, feet, and functions:
Objective: You will brainstorm ideas and describe your functions in order to select and apply parts to a form. DRILL: GET AN IPAD TO LOOK AT IDEAS. GO TO EDMODO. What could you do to the outside surface of your “VERB VESSEL”? List 3+ ideas. List 5 or more functions a coil vessel could have? What could you make? Draw 9 boxes on your page. In each box brainstorm: draw… Different shapes for the vessel. Handles, lids, feet Functions.

Create a coil vessel that has a function. On it include handle(s), foot, and/ or a lid. Be creative in the form. Relief carving design on outside. START PANDORA’S BOX ON FRIDAY.

PUT BLACK PAPER BEHIND YOUR SCULPTURES. Use stations in back of room. Save pics in backpack, then post them on the wall. Draw your verb in a lettering style. What are you going to work on today?
