New Registrations of Passenger Cars, in m units 2009: 3.81m units, highest since 1999 Scrapping Incentive boosted smaller cars (62%), increased share of imports to 35%, decreased share of Diesel (31%)… 2010: Back to normal in structure, not in quantity less smaller cars (54%), more German brands (70%), more Diesel (40+%) 2011: Back to normal in quality, stays in normal structure market will be on longer-term average size Source: VDA, KBA
