56% completion rate isn’t good enough. In 2016, NCAN invested in a national campaign to increase FAFSA completion rates nationwide, especially among low-income, minority, first-gen students. High school graduates who complete the FAFSA are 63% more likely to enroll in college than those who do not fill out the form. Millions of Americans are leaving more than $24 billion in financial aid unclaimed each year.
