5. Production Site MPS Tczew HISTORY
Founded in October 2004 as a 100% subsidiary of CD CARTONDRUCK AG
: start of marketing & sales activities in order to develop the Polish market
2006: construction of a production facility in Tczew /Gdansk, investment ca.10 million EUR in advanced folding carton production line
October 2006: start up - production is already working in the 3 –shift system.
May 2008: first prestigious award for the company - "Golden Gryf" from the Polish Chamber of Print for the pack of Smirnoff Black, also at PRO CARTON / ECMA Awards 2008

March 2009: successful launch of the ISO 2008:9001, systems, and FSC certification
2011: entrance to the MPS group
2012: 2nd investment phase – more than doubled production capacity with another 8 million euro invested.
March 2013: award in the Art of Packaging 2012 competition for the Smirnoff Black Single packaging
November 2013: merger with Chesapeake Group
August 2014: CARTONDRUCK POLSKA changes the name for MPS Tczew
