1. Commands: These sentences tell someone to do something forcefully and officially. The person may do it or not. Click 2 times Command sentences begin with a verb. Command sentences end with a period (.) Examples of Commands Take the car. Run fast. Use the back door. Eat vegetables.

2. Orders These are a type of command sentence, but the action must be completed by the one who receives the order. It’s said with a strong and authorative voice. Click 2 times Examples of orders Wake up early. Do the dishes. Study. Like commands, orders begin with a verb or can be only a verb. Order sentences end with a period. ( . )

3. Polite Requests: These are sentences that ask some-one to do some-thing in a nice way. Requests Examples Please be quiet. Could you please erase the answer. Take the dog for a walk, please. May I take your order? Will you go with him? The tone of voice in requests is soft, polite and nice. Use the following expressions to create request sentences: Can-May-Could-Will-Would-Please. “Please” is used in 3 different positions in the request sentence: Click 3 times At the beginning In the middle At the end
