Final Task: The Soundtrack of YES
You will create a soundtrack of 7 songs representing your 7 years at YES Songs for each year should come from that year, but can also come from other years if it is more fitting Include a title slide with your name and a creative title. Include pictures of you from that year (best.case) Include picture of the artist Explain why this song was the jam of that year PPT or Prezi or format you choose. 1983: 6th Grade: the reckoning
In this vale of toil and sin / You're stuck in a race that you just can't win / Just take a look around and it's so obscene / But that's the way it is, so you gotta get mean This is the year after I moved to America, and kids were so brutal about my hair, my freckles, my teeth, my accent; me. So, I decided that instead of letting them hurt me, I would “get mean”.

1985: 8th grade: lost in style. No clue.
Prince’s “Raspberry Berry” was the jam. He had no boundaries, and let us know that we didn’t need to fit into a set of criteria to be original.

1987 10th Grade: The year of the concerts
This is the year that I discovered that music really could save your life. These bands were my lifeblood, and it seemed, the only people in the world who could understand me.
