JUNIOR year…OMG In School:
Did you request classes that will help you meet graduation requirements? Don’t forget PE and health BALANCE! Have you requested a schedule that is too demanding or too easy? Remember- 7 classes instead of 6 Grade trends Colleges look at your overall performance in high school Struggle in 9th grade? Show improvements now and next year Did you know that JR year is the last complete year that will be posted on your transcript when you apply to colleges? Option: PSAT JUNIOR year…OMG Going into your JR year… things to consider -Meeting all grad reqs -Balance in schedule esp with additional period -Be aware that colleges want to see you continue to make positive progress with your grades/challenging course load -A challenging 9th/10th grade doesn’t mean that you cannot make it to college -Consider taking the PSAT in fall -JRs will need to pay -PSAT in 11th grade can qualify you for National Merit Scholarship competition

Running Start for next year?
Step 1: Decide which college you would like to attend for Running Start Step 2: Apply online for the Running Start program through the college’s website Step 3: Follow specific steps outlined by the college to complete your registration Step 4: Meet with your RHS counselor to complete the Running Start Enrollment Verification Form for fall quarter Running Start for next year?
