2 Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minorities
Pre-Matric – class I to X since

3 Salient Features Both central and state sponsored scheme.
Annually about 11 lakh scholarships awarded. 30% seats for girls. Maximum 2 children per family are admissible for scholarship. Transfer of Scholarship in DBT Mode. Aadhar. Mobile Number. Income Certificate- RD No. Mode of application both on NSP & SSP.

4 Eligibility Criteria Not less than 50% marks in previous final exam.
Should belong to Minority communities Muslims, Christians, Jains, Sikhs, Buddhists & Parsis. Domicile of Karnataka. Annual Income of parents/guardian should not exceed Rs. 1 lakh. Hostellers from I – V will get Zero amount.

6 Reasons for failure - 2017-18 Dormant account or Inactive account.
Minimum balance (BSBD). Accounts opened in local banks.

7 National Scholarship Portal & State Scholarship Portal
Sl No. NSP SSP 1 Start date: 23/07/2018 Last date: 30/09/2018 Start date: 29/08/2018 2 Procedure: student to apply no document upload required Self Enrollment: student to apply no document upload required. Application e-Sign and Aadhar e-Sign is compulsory. Assisted Enrollment through Schools: Schools can apply on behalf of students through SATS Institute login. or Enrollment through Citizen Service Center/Bapuji Seva Kendra No application e-Sign and Aadhar e-Sign is required. But to submit CONSENT FORMAT. 3 Document required: 1) Previous year markscard To avail Pre-Matric Scholarship for , all eligible students should apply both under NSP & SSP.

Non Aadhar e-Signed Acknowledgment copy ie, consent form required acknowledgment.

Mobile No. Take Print and Submit to HM with documents. Student & Parent Aadhar Income & Caste Certificate by Tahaslidar – (RD No.) Take Print and Submit to HM. NSP ID

10 Duties of HMs Receive NSP applications along with documents.
Register application under SSP by using SATS ID. (Procedure will be shared) Take User ID and Password of NSP from ECO, DDPI office and forward applications online. Take Aadhar consent form. Keep documents for further reference. First verify renewals. Each login - OTP

11 Duties of CRPs Conduct HMs meetings and explain about the procedure of application under NSP & SSP. Clearing of doubts. 12 Duties of ECOs Conduct CRPs meetings and explain about the procedure of application under NSP & SSP. Clearing of doubts. Issue User ID & Password under NSP to schools. Verification of applications both under NSP & SSP and forwarding to the next level. First verify renewals. Each login - OTP
