2. Every story needs characters…people, animals or creatures.
Characters come to life when they seem real…the way they talk, act, their habits, likes, dislikes.

3. Setting
The setting is where and when the story takes place. The setting may be in the past, present, or the future.

4. Plot
The plot is the sequence of events that happen in the story which include a beginning, a middle and an end.
It tells what the characters do and what happens to them.
Most stories have some type of problem and end with a solution.

5. Whether you’re the reader, or the writer, a great story includes all these literary elements!!!
