3 10 points per week = planner 10 points per week = participation Possible Grades: Pass, Pass-, Fail You MUST PASS Advisory if you want to be ELIGIBLE for sports and other activities. 6 Grades 40% Learning- Assignments for Learning or Review 60% Assessments-Tests & Quizzes: Showing what has been learned Test Retakes- Eligible to retake any test as long as all the above are completed. (Retakes will be on Tuesdays before or after school). Extra Credit- Is given only to the whole class. No individual assignments will be. It is extra, so all other assignments must be completed to be eligible.

7 Grades continued Check Student/Parent View often to review current grades and look for any missing work. Absent work needs to be turned in within the chapter (before the test is given to the class) Students who earn a 93% or higher in both semesters of U.S.A.H. will receive an honors award at the end of the year!

8 Homework Most assignments are given with class time to work on them.
The amount of homework depends on how wisely class time is used. Be sure to check the class website, white board, and assignment box for missed assignments.

11 Standards & Expectations
Behavior Class begins when the chimes sound. On time means in your seat. No wandering or lining up by the door at the end of class. Demonstrate respect for every person in our room. Demonstrate respect for our learning environment. Positive participation is an important part of learning.

12 Standards & Expectations
Electronic Equipment In accordance with our building policy: Devices may only be used for class assignments directed by the teacher Any electronic device that draws any kind of attention will be turned in by me to the office. You’re always welcome to leave those items at home or in your locker. 
