3. Migration Transition and the DTM?
- High daily mobility over long distances
- High international emigration
- Migration from rural to urban areas
- High international immigration
- Migration from cities to suburbs
- Seasonal mobility in search of food
For each characteristic, determine which stage of the DTM it would occur. The characteristics can be put in more than one stage.

4. Why do people migrate?

(4.) Identify the general regions that have net in/net out migration. Do this on a global scale and a national scale.
