Academic Lecture Rational Synthesis and Assembly of Nanocatalysts for Energy Applications 报告人:Prof. Shouheng Sun (Brown University,美国布朗大学) 时间: (周四) 上午 10:00-11:30 地点:无机楼107会议室 报告简介: Recent advance in nano-fabrication has made it possible to design and synthesize nanoparticles with nearly precise controls on nanoparticle size, shape, composition and structure for catalytic applications. In this talk, I will summarize the common methods we used to synthesize monodisperse nanoparticles, especially core/shell nanoparticles, nanowires and their assemblies on graphene (doped-graphene) surface. I will use Au-, Pt-, and Cu-based nanoparticles as examples to demonstrate the rational tuning and enhancement of nanoparticle catalysis for selective electrochemical reduction of proton, oxygen, and carbon dioxide for renewable energy applications. 报告人简介: Prof. Sunheng Sun (孙守恒) obtained his bachelor degree from Sichuan University in 1984 and master degree from Nanjing University in There, he worked as lecture for 5 years. In 1992, he pursued his PhD in Brown University and joined in research institute of IBM T. J. Watson soon after obtaining PhD. He returned to Brown university in 2005 and was promoted to full professor in He has published over 260 papers in journals such as Science, Nature, J. Am, Chem. Soc. and Angew. Chem. Int.
