2. Requirements for Producing a Good Presentation
Know your material.
Know what messages you want to convey.
Keep it simple.
Keep your text uncluttered.
Use short sentences or sentence fragments.
Add simple but informative drawings or photographs, where appropriate.
Eschew the use of gimmicks. Impress the viewer with your content, not with stunts and effects.
Avoid clutter that distracts the viewer:
patterned backgrounds,
colored backgrounds
“designer” slide formats

Flesh it out with succeeding levels of detail.
Revise, Revise, Revise.
Check the logic.
Try it out on a colleague, and listen carefully to the critical comments.
Add drawings/diagrams/photographs where appropriate to stimulate interest or better to explain critical concepts.
