Who are we? An environmental charity committed to managing , conserving and enhancing the countryside of Fife and its wildlife for local communities and visitors to experience, engage with and enjoy.

Established in Company Ltd by guarantee with charitable status Founding partners, Fife Council, Scottish Enterprise Fife, Scottish Natural Heritage, and Kingdom of Fife Tourist Board Set up in order to maximise the potential of Fife’s key Countryside assets, including: The Fife Coastal Path, Lomond Hills Regional Park, beaches and Local Nature Reserves

4 Project Background THE FIFE PILGRIM WAY PROJECT £758k project
Create a long distance walking route across Fife, following routes historically used by pilgrims Linking communities and businesses along the route Opening up social, economic and cultural opportunities

5 Project Background 2012: Project Group meetings : Establishment of Steering Group Feb. 2016: Development Phase March 2017: Funding secured! May – July 2017: Project Manager and Community & Business Engagement Officer appointed June 2017 – March 2019: Delivery phase
