INTRODUCTION Currently in the metropolitan area there are about taxis and maximum vehicles. Each year enters to the fleet 13% of the car sold in the country, also circulate about 2400 new motorcycles in the city. More of 50% of Medellín’s population use massive transit like Metro and its derivatives, others buses do. A person emits 1kg of CO2 while a car emits 2.3 kg of CO2 per liter of gasoline, which means that a vehicle in one day of travel pollutes the equivalent of five persons.
3
OBJECTIVES • Design a plan to help reduce vehicular pollution in the city. • Extend this plan through a national and international projection. • Apply professional tools we have in our profession to solve this problem.

THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK
Motor vehicles are one of the main air pollutants, the fleet includes a large and active group of vehicles emitting pollutants such as carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides that reach the atmosphere in large quantities, these are the oxidizing components Smog photochemical. Medellín is a city that suffers from this type of contamination, aided by pollution caused by industry

STRATEGIES 1. Practices Enviromental And Clean Air
2. Network Monitoring Air Quality 3. Integrated Transport 4. Sustainable Transport 5. Fuel Most Clean 6. Shares Of Autogestion 7. Management Actions In Stationary Sources

ANALYSIS AND PROPOSALS

CONCLUSIONS -It can be concluded that to reduce vehicular pollution in Medellin and improve air quality Aburrá Valley, Metropolitan Area seeks to encourage the use of integrated and sustainable transport , in addition to awareness campaigns. - Also it could concluded that is important to raise population awareness about the importance of contributing to the preservation of the environment and thus to a better quality of life for all, because there may be many projects seeking this objective but the change must start with each person. - Finally, it was very helpful for us to investigate how the dynamics of vehicular pollution is presented in Medellin and better yet, to offer and think about possible solutions to this problem through engineering , such as helping with the systematization of transport and thus decreasing the ecological impact on nature.
