2 No more than 5-6 bullets per slide Font size 32 or greater
Keep formatting standard Don’t need full sentences Use notes box for personal reminders You want people to be listening to you, NOT reading your slides, too many words makes it difficult to follow the presentation. Use this “notes box” to help you remember details you want to include during your talk that don’t warrant a highlighted spot on the slide

Article Appraisal Description of study: 1 slide Validity: 2 slides What were the results: 1-2 slides, can include tables from the article Applicability: 1 slide Your bottom line: 1 slide Total: No more than 8 slides per article This may not seem like a lot of slides, but remember that you are going to use this text box for additional information you’d like to discuss…you don’t need a slide for everything. Think about the CATs you’ve attended that have been boring…4-5 articles are a lot to get through, make it interesting and engaging for your attendees.
