Anti-Drugs CD Project You will be creating a CD that promotes anti-drugs. You may work alone or with ONE partner. No more than two people per group. Don’t even ask! Once you begin working with that partner, you are stuck with them. If they are absent, or they are not doing their part…that is your issue…you picked them! CHOOSE WISELY. Here are the following requirements: Cover art for CD. 10 Anti-Drug Song Titles Full lyrics to at least one of your anti-drug songs Letter to “listeners” about dangers of drugs Resources where a “listener” can find help for a drug addiction.

Cover Art All CD’s have cover art that tells the name of the album and attracts listeners attention. Must have an original/creative name for the album and for the “band” The entire cover must be a design/pic with the name and band name (no white space) Group members names must be on the front Must conform to correct specs (Dooley has template to follow)

Song Titles You must create 10 song titles about drugs/anti-drugs.
Song titles must be creative. Must conform to template. Must have design with titles. No black and white (pen/pencil)

Design behind/besides lyrics Spelled correctly Must fit template

Letter to Listeners You must write a letter to the listeners regarding drugs and their negative consequences. You must use facts, details or drug use, etc. Must fit template Watch grammar, spelling, etc Must have design/color. No pencil/black and white.

Resources for Listeners
You must give listeners at least 5 anti-drug resources. Internet, hotline, etc. You must have an anti-drug slogan with picture. No white space. Must fit template.

Creativity Neatness Quality of work Quality of information Spelling/Grammar Effort *all of these things will be taken into consideration for your grade. THIS WILL COUNT AS TWO TEST GRADES. SOME COMPONENTS WILL ALSO COUNT AS DAILY GRADES.
