3. The Need to Remember Shiloh
Those who trusted in the temple had a false sense of security (Jeremiah 7:1-4)
The Lord required thorough repentance! (Jeremiah 7:5-7)
The Lord saw their hypocrisy (Jeremiah 7:8-11)
He calls upon them the remember Shiloh (Jer. 7:12-15)
The tabernacle had long stood there, but God eventually forsook it (Joshua 18:1; 1 Sam 1:9; 3:15; 4:4-18; Psalm 78:60)
He would do the same with the temple (Jer. 53:12-13)

4. Our Need to Remember Shiloh
Could we have a false sense of security in the church?
We are saved individually, not on the basis of local church membership (Revelation 3:1-6)
The Lord still demands holiness from His people (Titus 2:11-12; 1 Peter 2:16; Hebrews 10:26-31)
God has promised to do to unfaithful Christians what he did to unfaithful Jews. (Romans 11:21-22)
