Art career began when he first exhibited with the Berlin Secession and the German Artists League Of Weimar
Influenced by Old Masters such as Rembrandt and Rubens
Worked with the German army field hospital corps during WWI ( discharged after 1917 after nervous breakdown)
Died of heart attack December 47 , 1950
