Is it my skills, my education, or my work experience?

2. The chronological resume
Most recent jobs/education come first
Bullet points indicating what each job/experience involved (use action verbs)
Use this style if you have lots of relevant work experience
THIS IS THE KIND OF RESUME YOU SHOULD ALL AIM FOR, so you have to be proactive and seek out internships, and other experiences that are relevant to the future job you want to do.

3. The ‘transferable’ skills resume
Emphasizes skills & accomplishments
Use this style if you have little or no work experience
Perhaps freshman, and sophomores who are applying for internships, will have this kind of resume.
Whichever style you write, the basic principle is the same:
You must match your skills, experience and knowledge with the skills being sought by the recruiter.
