4. Where is ZOHOR? Zohor is cca 30 km north-west of Bratislava.

6. The first written report about our village is from year 1314. The school already existed in 1687. Zohor burnt to ruin twice between 1881 and 1882. In March 1925, the first Zohor Fair was held. In 1934 a 6-Class school was built. Nowadays there is a City Hall in this building

7. Symbol of Zohor This is St. Margita – a patron our church. She is standing on the dragon. She has got a cross and a palm-tree leaf in her hands.

8. Our school is in the middle of the village in a big garden. This year our school celebrates its anniversary- 50 years.

9. This is our church. It is 110 years old. This is our train station. It takes 30 minutes to Bratislava by train. This is our city hall. It used to be school in the past. The city hall is opposite the church.
