As we wrap up the year, we will start reviewing spelling patterns taught at the beginning of the year and work our way back to where we are now. This week we will start with nonsense CVC words in order to assess their phonemic awareness (how they are able to distinguish sounds and their positions in a word) for example: rop, sim, tog

every Wed. 4-6pm in the library
Rise Up Assembly every Fri. at 7:30am
Fluency Story: Students will practice fluency passages that are on their reading level
Shared Reading: 2nd author study, compare and contrast the author studied last week.
Independent Reading: Students will read with accuracy and fluency in their weekly fluency passage.
