12. Pure Substance
Pure substances are defined as substances that are made of only one type of atom or only one type of molecule.

13. Mixture
A mixture is a combination of two or more pure substances in which each pure substance retains its individual chemical properties.
Homogeneous: In physical chemistry and materials science that refers to substances and mixtures which are in a single phase.
(e.g. air)
Heterogeneous: A heterogeneous mixture consists of visibly different substances or phases.

The principle that matter cannot be created or destroyed.

15. Density
D= m/v Ratio identifying compactness of a substance.
