2 Guidelines for Reporting Absences
Each month a No Leave Taken or an Absence needs to be entered. Failure to report even one month can result in a lose of sick leave DON’T LOSE YOUR SICK TIME!

3 Entering a No Leave Taken
Where do I go to request a No Leave Taken? Click on Time and Absence section in My UW System and click on Enter Absence.

4 Entering a No Leave Taken
Start Date: Click on the calendar and select the first of the month. Absence Name: Click on the down arrow and select No Leave Taken. 1 2

5 Entering a No leave Taken
Now the End Date appears. Select the first of the month again. (Do not select the first day and last day of the month) Click Submit.

6 Academic Pay Periods Month Days Included Number of days in month September August 22, September 20, 2018 30 October September 21, 2018-October 20, 2018 November October 21, 2018-November 20, 2018 31 December November 21, December 20, 2018 January December 21, 2018-January 19, 2019 February January 20, 2019-February 19, 2019 March February 20, 2019-March 21, 2019 April March 22, 2019-April 20, 2019 May April 21, 2019-May 20, 2019 *** Please note that when entering a no leave taken for September 1 to September 1 it covers the August 22- September 20 pay period and is due by October 5th.
