4. Science is the study of the natural world. So why choose engineering?
There are 3 main fields of science:
Biology-study of life
Physical science- physics and chemistry
Earth and Space Science- what we just covered this year.
Engineers solve problems using knowledge of science.

Technology is products or processes that solve societies problems, needs and wants.
Goal of technology is to improve the way people live.
Technology is how people change the world around them to meet needs and solve practical problems.
They are the result of engineering designs.
