3. Perry High School is a Title I School

4. What is Title I?
Title I provides financial assistance to schools with high numbers or percentages of socio-economically challenged students
At Perry High Title I funds are used to ensure that ALL students meet challenging state academic standards

5. A schoolwide plan is developed each year with the help of:
Administrators
Teachers
Central office personnel
Parents
Community members

6. Goals:
Decrease grade retentions by due to credit deficiencies by 5% thereby increasing the graduation rate
Achievements Specialist (1 full-time, 1 part-time)
Paraprofessional
Targeted study skills classes/remediation
Progress monitoring

7. Goals: Increase CCRPI Achievement and progress points by 2 per year
Provide instructional resources for teachers
Supplemental technology and classroom tools for students
Provide targeted academic assistance based on student needs
Increase stakeholder engagement by 5% in order to increase student achievement
