Kinetic Energy and Potential Energy Comparisons

Conclusions Power Clean and Clean and Press have very similar time courses Power cleans require work, but the force exerted by the legs is only slightly larger than the force exerted by the arms in the clean and press KE and PE graphs show more potential energy differences in power cleans than in clean and press. There is also more kinetic energy in the squat than the shoulder press due to larger range of movement (thus changes in velocity). Power cleans are great for overall more energy expenditure Both great lifts
