Homework 25% All homework is online. blackboard.suwon.ac.kr Beginning next week you can log-in and start your homework. There will be homework assignments for each module The due dates for homework assignments will be: Pre-midterm units Post midterm units Writing HW has different deadlines, this HW has to be completed before each writing class. (Every two weeks) Your score for each assignment will be combined to give you your final HW score. Friday October 12th Friday December 30th

Exams Midterm- Final- Final Written - October 15th – 19th
There will be two online exams Midterm Exam and Final Exam They cover both Listening & Speaking (20) and Reading (30) There will also be a final in-class written exam Midterm- October 15th – 19th Final- December 3rd – 7th Final Written - TBA If you miss an exam you will get an ‘F’

30% of this class must get a C, D or F.
Grades ALL E.S.L. classes are graded on a curve. This means not everyone will be getting “A+”. 30% of this class must get a C, D or F. 25% 45% 30% A+ / A B+ / B C / D / F

If you miss more than 4 classes
Will you miss class? Attendance Policy: 3% will be deducted from attendance score for every class missed If you miss more than 4 classes you will get an ‘F’ 4 absences = OK 5 absences = Not OK Do not accept 공문

Using your phone in class constantly Doing other classes homework Sleeping Not bringing your textbook Not completing class work Not participating in classroom activities All of these can result in you receiving a low participation score. Participation percentage for the class is 25%
