2. Step One Lay out materials:
Paper, scissors, measuring tape, markers, crayons, stapler and tape.

3. Step Two Measure your head (with the help of a friend)
Cut out a piece of paper 4” tall and 2” more than the circumference of your head

4. Step Three
Decorate your piece of paper in whatever way you like!

5. Step Four Staple your paper together so it fits around your head.
Trace this circle on a new piece of paper and cut it out.
What is the Diameter of your head? What is the Radius of your head?

6. Step Five Write down the length of your head’s: Circumference Diameter
Radius

7. Step Six Design and cut out your own brim. Suggestions:
Top hat, baseball cap, sun hat, etc.
