Winter Session- War; depressing, work (shoveling snow); having to make the choice to enlist because the war is approaching their lives as they get closer to graduation
Finny’s Fall- fall of innocence; unleashing of evil; end of summer session
Marble Steps- symbolizes how different things look when we are older or wiser; Finny’s second fall and ultimately his death
