Created in collaboration with local male leaders to support students of Hartnell College
Designed to increase the leadership capacity, workforce skills, and college completion rates of men in the Salinas Valley
Supports male students who are socially, educationally and economically disadvantaged

5. Salinas Valley Promise 2.0 Program Model
Eligibility Requirements
Be a graduate (high school diploma or GED) of a high school or adult school within the Hartnell Community College District entering college for the first time.
Have a 2.5 GPA or higher AND/OR completed all academic requirements for transfer admission to CSU or UC, also known as A-G completion.
Enroll in 12 or more units each semester.
Complete and submit the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or The California Dream Act Application
