A Value Scale is a valuable tool to help you find value in your subject matter.
Our first class exercise is to create a NINE STEP Value Scale to accompany your drawing.

Notice that drawing fur is not drawing lines
Notice that drawing fur is not drawing lines. Often we are drawing what is behind the lighter hairs to get them to show. It is like drawing in negative.
