Planning ahead Tanisha was moving office in five days. Before moving she wanted to clear out some old files. She started slowly on the Monday. However, each day she managed to clear away six more files than on the previous day. By the end of the week all 100 files had been cleared. How many files does Tanisha clear on each of the five days? There are a variety of skills required by an entrepreneur: Planning – setting goals and strategies for the business Thinking ahead – looking at the medium to long tem Seeing opportunities – new products and new markets Having drive and determination – the willingness to succeed Which do you think is the most important skill for success? Do you have what it takes to be an entrepreneur? Draw a spider diagram with a picture of yourself at the centre Label yourself ‘ENTREPRENEUR’ As lines coming out of the centre list the skills that are required by an entrepreneur e.g. planning, initiative, determination etc. As this is about you give examples from your school/college or personal life that demonstrate how you have shown these skills 1.2.6 Enterprrise Skills
