Comprehension/ Listening Comprehension – Kalejdoskopju 4 & Listening Comprehension Booklet.
2 Grammar lessons – Power Point Presentations and Malti Għalina t-Tfal 4 & extra resources.
Reading/ Library books.
Spelling test – uploaded on my blog every week; common used words.
Writing – double lesson; plan and well structured paragraphs.

3. Reading Students are to read 20 minutes everyday at home.
List down new words and their meaning.
Use the same words in sentences.
Library books are chosen by the pupils but checked for appropriate reading level according to colour.
Students still struggling to understand the language, may focus on listening to Maltese videos for better comprehension of the language and practice 20 minutes everyday of speaking only Maltese.

4. Homework
H.W. is given everyday except Wednesday which is not H.W. day.
Writing H.W. is never for the following day.
Special H.W. – once a month.
Missing H.W. log book.
Time management at home when working.
All students are to write their H.W. on their diary. Gradebook is for parents.

5. Assessments
Assessments are given close to the end of every term including grammar concepts done that term, comprehension text and questions about it and also a writing task.
2 stars: 2 areas that the student did really well during the test.
1 wish: an area which needs further improvement.
Kahoot! Quizes as a fun revision.

6. Communication
Children write any additional information on their diary, whilst after school more details are uploaded on the blog:

Blue A4 Plastic Covers – for extra resources.
