This October, eliminate the threat of password reuse.
Passwords are the first line of defense in protecting your personal information. Treat passwords like the keys to your house or car. Password reuse puts your identity and personal information at risk. Think “unique”: Unique account, unique password. Audit passwords with the LastPass Security Challenge. Replace old, weak, duplicate, or leaked passwords with new, generated passwords. Create and store passwords with a secure password manager.

How to use LastPass to improve your security this NCSAM.
Use the password generator to create unique passwords for every account. Add another layer of security by turning on two-factor authentication for LastPass and other supported services. Remove passwords stored in your browser(s) and save them to LastPass, where they’re encrypted. Set up Emergency Access in your LastPass vault so loved ones have access to important accounts, should something unexpected happen. Only share passwords through LastPass, where you can keep track of who has access to what, update shared passwords easily, and instantly remove their access if needed.
