Example of Foreign Policy
“War on Terror” In 2001, President Bush announced the “War On Terror” as a response to the 9/11 attacks. Later, during his second term ( ) he said that a part of his foreign policy was to “promote democracy.” He tried to change the governments of Iraq and Afghanistan after we invaded both nations.

Example of Domestic Policy
“War on Terror” In 2001, President Bush signed the “PATRIOT Act.” Domestic policy was changed to allow some warrantless searches, listening in on some phone calls, and collecting data on phone calls made by citizens. As of 2015, mass phone call data can no longer be collected, but most of the other parts of the act continue today.

The United States can influence other nations and the world in a way that will benefit our nation. The United States has a responsibility as a Super Power.
