Task 1: You and Your Body Read Pages of ‘Your Life’ Student Book 1 Answer questions 1-4 on each page

Task 2: Carousel There are 4 different pieces of paper with headings.
You have 3 minutes to write down as many words and phrases to do with the heading that you have heard of. They could be slang words. The paper will then be moved to the next group. Male Sexual Body Parts, Female Sexual Body Parts, Sexual Activities, Sexual Identities

Task 3: Red, Amber, Green Think about the words and phrases you’ve heard today. Your teacher will put some of these words up on the board. On your Green piece of paper: Write down the words you are confident you understand On your Amber piece of paper: Write down those words you are a bit unsure of but think you understand On your Red piece of paper: Write down those words you really don’t understand

Task 4: Ask it Basket On your blank piece of paper write down a question you would like to ask to do with the topics we have covered today. DO NOT PUT YOUR NAME ON IT. Fold the paper and put it in the basket. Your teacher will go through the questions and ask for any answers the rest of the class might have.

Task 1 Go over definitions from the RAG exercise from last week.
If you had any of the words on your Red or Amber paper you should write these down with the meanings in your jotter. Answers to ask-it basket.

Task 2 Have a look at male and female genitalia diagrams.
Notice the correct scientific terminology. Remember: Everyone is unique and reaches puberty at different rates. All bodies are different

Task 3 a. Write down how boys behave and what they might say when discussing sexual matters b. Write down how girls behave and what they might say when discussing sexual matters Discuss responses as a class. Are they similar or do they vary? How close to reality are they?
