4. Task 2: Carousel There are 4 different pieces of paper with headings.
You have 3 minutes to write down as many words and phrases to do with the heading that you have heard of. They could be slang words. The paper will then be moved to the next group.

5. Task 3: Red, Amber, Green
Think about the words and phrases you’ve heard today. Your teacher will put some of these words up on the board.
On your Green piece of paper:
Write down the words you are confident you understand
On your Amber piece of paper:
Write down those words you are a bit unsure of but think you understand
On your Red piece of paper:
Write down those words you really don’t understand

6. Task 4: Ask it Basket
On your blank piece of paper write down a question you would like to ask to do with the topics we have covered today. DO NOT PUT YOUR NAME ON IT.
Fold the paper and put it in the basket.
Your teacher will go through the questions and ask for any answers the rest of the class might have.
