I take attendance using the phone caddy. Your pocket number will be the same number as the class roster.
I will post the class rosters on the wall so you can check your number.
For the next few weeks, your number may change as students switch classes You will need to check to make sure you put it in the correct pocket. You may lose participation points if you phone is not in the correct pocket. (Not to mention I may count you absent)
SO, YES, I do use the phone caddy!
The couch is used only in group work and by permission.
It is not an assigned seat.

7. JOURNAL You will need to purchase a journal
JOURNAL You will need to purchase a journal. We will journal almost every day. If you like to write, choose a college-ruled journal. If you don’t like to write, pick a wide-ruled journal. The rule is that you have to finish the entire page. If you never get a journal and use a spiral notebook, then you will have A LOT of writing to do!
