The function of Man is to love God BUT, loving a superior is not the same as loving an equal But because Man has a true personality this love is not mechanical, but occurs by the wonder of choice.

8 One Tree Note that the test does not involve a good tree vs. a bad tree God simply confronts Man with a choice (Man has free will) Knowledge (as knowledge) was not wrong; it was the choice to disobey God that was wrong Man was not deterministically conditioned; It was a simple test and everything involved was absolutely plain.
