Organise a HRMT workshop in 2014 under the theme: HRMT and modernisation of statistics (MOS) - How can HRMT contribute to the MOS?
Papers and presentations should address issues in MOS raised by the HLG-BAS and provide experiences and examples of good practices

3. Possible topics: How to create an environment of change
Willingness, ability and readiness to change
Future competencies, training
Industrialization of the production process
Development of new and better products and services
Getting focus on the international perspective
Strategical issues …

4. Organisation of work
Establish Organising Committee to prepare HRMT MOS workshop in 2014
The group should consult with the HLG-BAS, seek input and keep the HLG-BAS informed
Terms of reference of work has to be presented to the CES Bureau in November 2012 for decision
The Organising Committee will mainly work by electronic means

5. The next steps
Sep/Oct 2012: Drafting of TOR for Organising Committee on 2014 HRMT MOS workshop
Nov/Dec 2012: Formation of the Organising Committee
