2. Greek mythology is the body of myths and teachings that belong to the ancient Greeks concerning their gods and heroes, the nature of the world, and the origins and significance of their own culture and practices. While many of the gods and heroes appear in epic poems or other texts, many of the stories have been passed down through the oral tradition; Prometheus is one such story.
In class, we have read two accounts of Prometheus. In an essay, describe what parts of each story are a basis for the story of Prometheus.
