Occasional reminders of quizzes, homework, announcements, etc. This is not a guarantee and is therefore not a substitute for personal responsibility and time management. That is what the syllabus is for. 

According to The College Board, 31 percent of colleges and universities look at AP experience when making scholarship decisions.
Save money.
Students with AP experience and credits are more likely to graduate from college in four years.

6. Classroom Guidelines and Policies
Grading Procedures
Major Grades 70%: tests, essays, research paper
Daily Grades 30%: discussions, presentations, journals, quizzes, APMCs (AP-style multiple choice)
Homework Policy
Homework will not be accepted late.
Make-up Work (Tomball ISD Policy)
In-class work missed due to absence must be scheduled immediately upon return to school and completed within a reasonable amount of time (based on the number of days absent). It is the student’s responsibility to request the make-up work and to adhere to the deadline established.
If an assignment is due the day the student is absent, he/she is still responsible for getting it turned in on time.
Tutoring
I am available for tutoring before and after school by appointment. Tutoring/Writing Conferences are student-directed.
