3 Illinois Assessment of Readiness
Updates: Notice of award for Data Recognition Corporation (DRC) as vendor for 3-8 assessment This begins the contracting process. All information subject to change pending a fully executed contract. Testing Window: Unknown at this time Won't begin before March 4, 2019 Unless necessary, won't extend past April 26, 2019 PARCC content will continued to be the majority of the test in 2019 and 2020, as we transition to computer adaptive in 2021 DRC will lead the development of a Spanish native language assessment for mathematics targeted for 2021

Next Steps DRC currently hosts our ACCESS assessment Experience tailoring PARCC content with other test items based on work in Louisiana. DRC administered large-scale, state-wide assessment programs in states (Wisconsin, South Carolina, and Nevada) ISBE award announcement letter on the Assessment Communication page:

7 Science 2018 Individual score reports are in the process of printing and shipping Forms being refreshed for 2019 Working to develop new blueprint & items for field testing

Educator Portal interface was updated to be more user friendly KITE Student Portal has also been updated. Noticeable increase in students being identified for eligibility to be assessed using the DLM-AA Noticeable increase in the number of districts over the 1%

9 Access WIDA-developed professional learning workshops are now available directly to districts and schools. Primary mechanism for school accountability under ESSA Designed to identify schools for supports and improvement

18 Summative Ratings Summative ratings are for all schools.
1003(a) School Improvement Grants are for Title I schools and any high school with graduation rates below 67 percent. Targeted Support Grants are for: Schools with underperforming subgroups, also known as Tier III Schools who fall below the 95% participation threshold in one or more subgroup for 3 consecutive years (based on Spring 18/19/20 data) Schools with one or more subgroups that falls within the lowest 10 percent of performance for three or more consecutive years for participation or lowest 10% for 3 consecutive years are annual starting in Summative ratings are annual.
