Junior High Practice Expectations
Players must check in with coaches when they arrive at practice. be dressed and ready to start practice on time(cleats, socks, shin guards). Bring a BALL and WATER to practice. Provide a written note or from parent if they are going to be late for practice, leave early from practice or are going to miss a practice.

Expected to give full effort ATTITUDE Choose positive responses to both ups and downs RESPECT Self, teammates, coaches, opponents, refs These are achievable goals for every player.

Practice before school starts
First day of practice Aug. 14. Aug 14th - 25th : practice for 7-8th athletes will be from 5:00-7:30 PM at PI soccer fields. Bus will leave Mazeppa at 4:15 PM and Zumbrota at 4:30 PM. They should be in PI by 4:45 PM. Aug 14th -25th for JV and V: Morning practice will be from 8:30 – 10:30 AM on Mon, Wed, Fri. No bus. and 5:00-7:30 PM every day at PI soccer fields. Bus will leave Mazeppa at 4:15 PM and Zumbrota at 4:30 PM.

Practice after school starts day of Aug. 28th
Practice for all teams will be from 3:45-5:30 pm at PI soccer fields starting on Aug 28th. Bus will leave at 3pm from M and 3:15 from Z.

What do I need for the first practice?
Soccer cleats, running shoes, regulation NOSCE approved shin guards, ball, soccer shorts. 2 Water bottles. Positive attitude, respect for others, and teamwork.

Practice Expectations
All practices and meetings are mandatory! If you miss a practice, you must have a written excuse from your doctor or parents (talk to a captain if you have to leave school early).

Early Key dates TBD - We are going to have the concussion testing TBD. It will be just for the new players or the players who may have had prior concussion symptoms. Aug. 1 Captains practice starts at 8 AM to 9:30 AM at PI HS fields. TBD - pictures. Aug. 17 (TBD) – 8 AM to 11 AM – Trail Head Team Activity Aug. 24 – first game against PI Aug. 26 – Sept. 5

Bus Expectations Bus leaves on time whether you are there or not.
You must ride the bus to the game in order to participate. Talking on the bus needs to be at a minimum. This is time for you to get mentally ready for the game. Coaches need to talk to them face to face if you are to ride home with them. They will be required to sign out with a coach or manager. NO RIDING HOME WITH FRIENDS. If you need to be home earlier, your parents need to attend the game and bring you home with them.

Parents: How can you help?
Attend games if you are able Help your athlete to maintain proper nutrition throughout the season Most of all, help your student athletes to get enough rest, keep up with their school work, encourage them, tell them that no matter what you are proud of their efforts, and support them in positive ways!
